Yes English and American are differrnt. I 'very always assume that loose with the drawn out oo was correct and Oxford English, but you may be right.

Hi Anna, the word loose means slack, as in something that is loose fitting. The word lose means something that is lost as in, I need to lose a few pounds I'm putting on too much weight. It is also pronounced as if it had a zee instead of an ess. I hope this has helped?

Videos are OK but often they are long and take time to watch, text has an advantage there as you can quickly scan through to the points that interest you. Well you can do that a lot of the time anyway, I notice some article such as in the Guardian for example tend to do a lot of rambling before getting to the point, maybe I do that myself sometime, I tend to ramble on a bit too much!
