Well, I dont want to admit to needing one nor to having really sucky eating habits but ..oh wait, did i say that out loud? mm'kay I guess I could share a tip or two...and use one. Although at the moment I've suspended any effort because there will be major food here tomorrow night... After New Year passes though, I'll start toning up for summer. The holidays and the cold weather can do a little damage, you know.

I'm not on a diet and not planning to be on one but people who want to can post stuff on that. Not sure I'll be able to contribute to it much though!

There is nothing unhealthy about a good home-cooked pud. Quite often if I'm out I'll go for a starter and a pudding and skip the main course.
Evertyhing in moderation - but preferably not me.

I won't bother with this then as consumer feed back wasn't enthused by the idea.

Oh, don't get all discouraged, Gibby. Maybe we're happy with our own body size! (Actually if anything my hubby would like me to be a bit larger than I am!)

I need to diet Gibby........I have a new medicine that is making me have no appetite........but I want sweets all the time!! So doubt any weight loss will happen.....
I was trying to post interesting recipes........how about a thread that posts great recipes that are Low calorie?
My problem is my hubby is a meat and potato guy...hates vegetables.....so I would be thrilled to change things up a bit and have some new things to try that wouldn't have him running out the door.......

Confession time - I don't need to lose weight, mine is boringly normal. But I would like to eat more healthily; my energy levels are suffering at the moment. I also eat a lot of sweets; they give an instant energy boost, Yes, I know about slow burning carbohydrates but they don't do the job so well!
One of my walking companions, a retired doctor, has been fasting one day a week for a few months now. It isn't a total fast, just very low calorie, maybe fruit and a green salad, the odd water biscuit. The rest of the week she just eats normally, without worrying about it. She has lost weight and feels great; apparently fasting has huge health benefits. She says she actually enjoys the experience so I might give it a try.
As for puddings - yes, I'll need to share mine anyway. I'm not a big eater and there is nothing more off-putting than being presented with a large plate of food to struggle through.
