and so we go from bad to verse trudging through snow with a muffled curse
don't tell the nurse: the patient's worse; so, to be terse, you'll find them in a hearse!

A Meditation
Sat cross legged upon the ground, a smile, upon my face. Around me nature's gifts abound, in this... Most peaceful place. I still my mind of earthly things: tis time for peace within. Thus sat beneath a willows' fronds, I wait 'til it begins.
As sure as always comes the time: I know, when I must stand. and drooped now in the willow stance, the goddess, takes my hand. I breathe as slowly as I can and gently start to sway, we dance together she and I and so, begins the day.
Now encaged in billowed skirts¦ breeze rustling through the boughs. my feet apart just shoulder width, She knows, she has me now. I change my moves to mimic her: just perfect, this ballet. and pleased by this most subtle art, 'Come now'... I hear her say.
I draw out what is hers to give: The very air I breathe. she takes from me the same again, 'As one' she says to me. I dance with her a goodly hour and we are both refreshed. though special is the bond we have, we cannot stay enmeshed.
Once more sat upon the ground. A smile upon my face. Again with nature's gifts around, I know this peaceful place. I still my mind of spirit things 'tis time for calm within. then step from 'neath my willows' fronds Let chaos... now begin!

The Rustling Of The Leaves
Balmy words of even song birds gathering to feast Flitter, titter, twitter there with moonrise to the east.
The hot sun has an hour to go before he takes his rest. and just up in that tree ahead A squirrel plays in jest.
How the moment captures me as he runs down the trunk. and as he stops to look at me I'm bathed in peace quite drunk.
A foolish thought then came to mind if only he'd come close. So I can feel him next to me and gain the very most.
Turning round he scoots away in flurries, leaps and bounds. I thought then that he was gone but no... He's still around!
Lowered hands quite nonchalantly rustle leaves about. And mr squirrel hearing this decides to come back out.
I count not one but three or four they are all, I do believe. Wondering what is hid within the rustling of the leaves.
Bathed in awe as they draw near too much to be believed. If you would wish a squirrel close Just rustle up some leaves!

Kushti Bok!
How the Rom still rambles on and on and on and on. still walks the pages of all time and says to rest, be gone!
He journey's not to find the yurt nor hear the sound of 'drum' that calls him in a different time to rest his bones... di-dum.

I have several poems from many years ago that I love, and would like to share them Here's the first one: What was it when I looked at you?
What power has chained me through and through...
And binds my heart with links so tight?
I can not live without the sight of you

Poem #2 Upon the shore the lilies bend,
Untouched by worldly care.
Where shadow they her earthly bed,
Oh, that she were not there!

Poem #3 Thy hair, thy lips, thy beauteous face,
And all thy studied female grace,
Have won for thee anon a place,
Within this broken breast

And here's the 4th and final poem I cry out and cannot find you,
I reach out and you are not there.
If I cannot have you with me,
There is no peace for me anywhere.
If this is love, then love has killed me,
For without my love, my heart is slain
Through all the world I search for you
To make me whole again.
