I miss Kronks a great deal. He has, as we all know now, passed away. His brave battle with cancer is over.
He was a real good freind to me, we talked and discussed many things. He was always there for me. He is one who will be very hard to forget, if ever we can.
Big Lin , would you mind writing a poem for Kronks?
it would be very much appreciated .

He was the nicest kindest person, and will be greatly missed by all those who were fortunate enough to know him.

He was lovely and had a great sense of humour. We often disagreed but I never disliked him or got angry with him - he always made me want to hug him!

I'll try, Deyana, but I didn't know him anywhere near as well as I knew Anna. She had many secrets and was a very complex person and of course we disagreed a lot over some of her views which I found deeply racist and disturbing. But she had her own problems and she bore them bravely and her heart was always in the right place. Kronks always made me laugh; he was such a brilliant wind-up merchant!

He was funny. I will remember his humor for sure. Thanks, Lin.

In Loving Memory of Brendan (Kronks):
in a cold December, I heard you had abandoned us, slammed shut the door while the laughter of you floated in the free air. now there's a sudden silence: your fountain of words evaporated, dried up, and no more will we argue or compare that which is gone with that which still lives on
now you are at rest, the fertile earth stoppering your suddenly silent mouth; and yet, though away from us, you hover in our memories, a mischievous shade we half expect, in a burst of mirth, to leap out in the full bloom of youth and from behind a curtain break cover shouting aloud: 'fooled you again!' to bring us joy instead of the aching pain your departure has made
Brendan, your name means 'spear' - are you fighting now as the ground cradles you and the hungry worms strip away the flesh you used to wear, making of your once living body fertiliser for the plough?
it is, in spite of my faith, hard to come to terms with your passing, but I'm sure the angels are drinking a huge carafe of your humour and kindness, for you could make even the saddest soul laugh!
