I believe in the Holy Spirit and that is who is providing the spiritual enlightenment. You can't go wrong. Believing something is NO guarantee it's true. If you are shown something and it comes true in this physical plane, then you have to believe the truth of the one that is enlightening you. Don't you think?

While we're on the subject of true stories, how about this one? The Smiths were unable to conceive children and decided to use a surrogate father to start their family. On the day the proxy father was to arrive, Mr. Smith kissed his wife goodbye and said, 'Well, I'm off now. The man should be here soon.’ Half an hour later, just by chance, a door-to-door baby photographer happened to ring the doorbell, hoping to make a sale. 'Good morning, Ma'am', he said, 'I've come to..’ 'Oh, no need to explain,' Mrs. Smith cut in, embarrassed, 'I've been expecting you.’ 'Have you really?' said the photographer. 'Well, that's good. Did you know babies are my specialty?’ 'Well that's what my husband and I had hoped. Please come in and have a seat !’ After a moment she asked, blushing, 'Well, where do we start?’ 'Leave everything to me. I usually try two in the bathtub, one on the couch, and perhaps a couple on the bed. And sometimes the living room floor is fun. You can really spread out there.’ 'Bathtub, living room floor? No wonder it didn't work out for Harry and me!’ 'Well, Ma'am, none of us can guarantee a good one every time. But if we try several different positions and I shoot from six or seven angles, I'm sure you'll be pleased with the results.’ 'My, that's a lot!', gasped Mrs. Smith. 'Ma'am, in my line of work a man has to take his time. I'd love to be in and out in five minutes, but I'm sure you'd be disappointed with that.’ 'Don't I know it,' said Mrs. Smith quietly. The photographer opened his briefcase and pulled out a portfolio of his baby pictures. 'This was done on the top of a bus,' he said. 'Oh, my God!' Mrs. Smith exclaimed, grasping at her throat. 'And these twins turned out exceptionally well - when you consider their mother was so difficult to work with.’ 'She was difficult?' asked Mrs. Smith. 'Yes, I'm afraid so. I finally had to take her to the park to get the job done right. People were crowding around four and five deep to get a good look.’ 'Four and five deep?' said Mrs. Smith, her eyes wide with amazement. 'Yes', the photographer replied. 'And for more than three hours, too. The mother was constantly squealing and yelling - I could hardly concentrate, and when darkness approached I had to rush my shots. Finally, when the squirrels began nibbling on my equipment, I just had to pack it all in.’ Mrs. Smith leaned forward. 'Do you mean they actually chewed on your, uh...equipment?’ 'It's true, Ma'am, yes.. Well, if you're ready, I'll set-up my tripod and we can get to work right away.' 'Tripod?’ 'Oh yes, Ma'am. I need to use a tripod to rest my Canon on. It's much too big to be held in the hand very long.' Mrs. Smith fainted. Wow!!! Who can think all that up? What an imagination they must have. It"s amazing. You have excelled yourself once more. Bring them on.!!!

Believing something is NO guarantee it's true. If you are shown something and it comes true in this physical plane, then you have to believe the truth of the one that is enlightening you. Don't you think? Well, people who take drugs (I used to be one) often have hallucinations; same with alcohol. And various kinds of stress and brain injury. A mirage for instance by definition is NOT true. And of course there are nearly always more than one interpretion of the same event. Ask twenty people who saw a traffic accident, for example. You'll get twenty different versions of what happened. As Oscar Wilde said, 'the truth is rarely pure and never simple!'

I'm not into drugs of any kind as I never visited a Doctor until a few years back when I had absolutely no energy and discovered that I had high blood pressure and high cholesterol. I was treated and now the only pills I take are vitamins on occasions. A mirage is a true happening although it isn't what we seem to think it is in terms of its reality in being something that is quite close. It is a reflection. I will of course still continue to believe in reincarnation, past lives, and Soul travel.

Shirley McClaine was a fruitcake. And Saint-Germain was a con man and spy. I might have made a mistake by saying that St Germain and Shirley McClaine were lovers. I think it might have been someone with the name Sharlyman or something like that. I don't know where the book is , so can't check. Does anything ring a bell with you? PS: I just found out that Charlemagne was a king of France. I was just watching a documentary about Chamcord Castle and they mentioned him. Is it possible to give me any info on that discovery?

You are of course welcome to believe in reincarnation; as for soul travel (more commonly referred to as 'astral projection' or 'out of the body experiences' that is a psychological state which numerous atheists have described and experienced. It is NO kind of 'proof' of the spiritual 'planes' in which you believe. As it happens I have been persuaded by a combination of the evidence and personal experience that individual survival of death is a reality but if that is the case then reincarnation must be false.

They must have some unfinished business that concerns them so strongly, that it has prevented Soul moving onward to the light where it will be instructed and things arranged for another trip back to the physical dimension in another body or 'vehicle' that ECKists know is the real term for the body. In other words Soul is born as a baby.

I may have long since abandoned the Christian beliefs in which I was raised but they make it clear that reincarnation is NOT compatible with Christianity and that each individual soul survives. Now I make no claim that this idea is TRUE (I have too much humility and too much regard for truth to do anything like that) but at least it is far more logical than the endless circus of reincarnation.

I can only speak for my own proof of experiencing many past lives as a different person. So I know it is happening. It irks me that you should try to pooh pooh what I KNOW to be true, and all because you yourself have not had that experience. All is spirit and spirit has somehow been projected into the physical world by using the body of a baby. In doing this Spirit has been individualised. Each time, the body dies and returns to the earth whilst spirit as soul goes back into the realm of.spirit. when the time is ripe back it goes to the Earth again being born once more to a mother who has been chosen especially.

You have no idea what kind of experiences I have had; many of them would be considered paranormal, mystical, and similar terms. I prefer to remain humble and open-minded rather than arrogantly confusing my beliefs with facts or dogmatically asserting that something that I might LIKE to believe is true. You have NO valid proof of reincarnation and still less of the 'truth' of Eckist beliefs. And your attempt to present Eckism as somehow reconcilable with Christianity when the two belief systems are diametrically opposed on every issue shows that either you have a very superficial idea of Christian beliefs or you are attempting to exert sleight-of-hand,

Your attempt to suggest that inner experiences are on the same plane as external ones which can be verified or falsified independently whereas subjectives one cannot is to make any kind of knowledge or approach to truth impossible. If what you claim WAS true then on your own principles you have NO justification for claiming that YOUR beliefs are truer than those of others who take a different point of view. Your Mahanta is obviously yet another in the long line of people from Zarathustra, Buddha, Jesus, Appolonius of Tyana, Mani, Muhammad, the Bab, Guru Nan Das, Garner Ted Armstrong and others who claim to have a direct line to God. Why should we take any more notice of his ideas than those of the others I have mentioned?

But the reality is that a psychological experience is NOT a guarantee of verity.

Have these people visited any of the other planes ? Well, according to them, yes. But the reality is that a psychological experience is NOT a guarantee of verity. What is then? In order to enter the Kingdom of Heaven before the body dies.you have to meditate, and you do that by breathing in deeply whilst with closed eyes, putting your attention on the third eye. You can if you wish chant HU (hue) a sacred name for God whilst exhaling in a long drawn out sound. Inhaling and exhaling like this for about 30 minutes. Do this each day preferably at the same time and in as quiet an environment as possible. Eventually you should receive something. It could be a colour or you could even go Soul Travelling like I did.

So let us assume for the sake of discussion that there really is an afterlife. All these dead people are up there in heaven enjoying themselves and socializing. Lord Nelson is lunching with Napoleon and kibitzing about old times. Adolph Hitler and Winston Churchill are at the next table doing the same. Oh wait! Hitler wouldn't be there. He would be burning in the fires of hell for eternity. The whole thing is just silly nonsense.
Just imagine the great meetings that could happen in heaven if there really was a heaven. Mohammad and Jesus getting together on the debate team. Czar Nicholas and Lenin doing the same. Generals Patton and Rommel becoming best friends. Julius Caesar and Brutus kissing and making up. The possibilities are endless.

Everyone is attended to singly then they are prepared for their next sojourn to the Earth. You will have to change your attitude before you will gain any spiritual enlightenment any time in the future.

Firstly, the body dies, Soul a unit of awareness, is then released.and travels to the dimension where it will be made aware that it will be going back to the Earth again as soon as it has been arranged. On the one hand, we have NDE's where Soul has not left the body permanently, it will return to life as the same person. When the body has deteriorated so that it can't be inhabited again, Soul will return as a new person in the form of a baby born to a new set of parents. This is known as reincarnation.

Everything that we experience is relayed to the brain via our senses, so it is a case of believing what we have received, or not.

DAS what proof can you provide for thinking that there is no afterlife? You have none, that is obvious.
In one lifetime, I jumped off a cliff, died as a result, but had the experience of still being aware of what was going on as Soul, which is a unit of awareness that lives on after the body has deteriorated due to death.
How do you explain that experience?
