The UK voted for Brexit, so why don't they do something equally batshit crazy like take up this Swedish Liberal People's Party idea.

The UK voted for Brexit, so why don't they do something equally batshit crazy like take up this Swedish Liberal People's Party idea. Brexit is NOT crazy; the EU (unlike the UK) is entering a period of sustained recession. It is also growing increasingly fascist in its behaviour. Getting out now is rational; staying in is the crazy option. And neither leaving nor remaining has ANYTHING to do with the stupidity of wanting to legalise incest and necrophilia. By the way, a number of Remain MPs are on record as calling for the age of consent to be lowered to 10 or even lower. NO Brexit-supporting MP has done that.

Brexit was a manipulation of the UK electorate. My view is that we are all screwed either way the vote goes. And Yes, we should be a Republic if we go over the cliff.
No point in Brexit otherwise.

Brexit was a manipulation of the UK electorate. My view is that we are all screwed either way the vote goes. And Yes, we should be a Republic if we go over the cliff. No point in Brexit otherwise. The manipulation on the 2016 campaign was overwhelmingly done by Remoaners. Just as Project Fear and Project Lie are the desperate attempt by the political and economic establishment to preserve their cosy capitalist paradise and carry on oppressing the working classes and the poor of the world. I get the sense you're not used to hearing pro-Brexit views except from a right/far right perspective. Well, I'm a Lexiteer; a left-wing supporter of Brexit. Rather like Tony Benn and Peter Shore were (and even though I wasn't born when they campaigned to leave in 1975 I've read what they said and seen them speaking in videos. I can post links if you like. Their criticisms of the EU in 1975 are even MORE valid now than they were back then.
