I find Tomi very refreshing and likeable!
As for the abortion issue? I'll never understand women who date men who won't be there for their child should that happen. Women should always tell the guy in advance they won't abort a child from him and marriage first is a good idea if a child is desired.
I can't support forcing women to bear children after being raped or bearing a child with serious birth defects.
It's a states rights issue or a county to county issue. DAS (formerly BushAdmirer) mikemarshall Big Lin

No doubt, Tomi is a smart girl and very good at expressing herself. I loved her video on fake news which really rings true. I keep flip flopping on the abortion issue because I can see both sides of that issue. On the one hand, if a 19 year old girl becomes pregnant by her married boss she met at work. He's not going to marry her but does offer to pay for her abortion, She has a difficult choice of either accepting his offer or facing the prospect of becoming a single mom with not much education or means of support. That is often a route into poverty which can last a lifetime. i remember a discussion some years ago with a single mom raising a wayward teenage son about 16 years old who already had a criminal record. He was very immature, had hooked up with the wrong friends in high school, and could not be trusted when left alone. His mom had a low income job which was his and her only means of support. If she didn't go to work, they didn't eat. If she did go to work, no telling what new trouble her son would be getting into while she wasn't around to keep an eye on him. The bottom line here is that being a single mom can mean a tough life, especially when part of a low income crime ridden neighborhood like the south Chicago black community. On the other hand, my two young grandsons are here to visit this weekend. They're healthy, active, attractive kids with a huge upside. Their dad, my son, is a successful computer security expert and their mom is an attorney. My wife, their grandmother, totally adores those kids. So what if I had refused to get married and pressured my wife to get an abortion? No weekend with those kids. No son. No husband for that lawyer. See what I mean. Very tough position for a young woman to find herself in. ♫anna♫

I think people like us are 90% or more against abortion and accept it in 10% or less of the cases.
The woman who got pregnant from her boss should said no or have had it 100% clear that she would not abort his child and get him to sign a legal contract putting him in the position of fully supporting her and his child should a child be born.
The women who routinely go for abortions and back for more are not part of my community and I'm happy not to have them as neighbors. DAS (formerly BushAdmirer)

If they do certain non homicidal or non extreme criminal activities in a community that is good to go with that I have no jurisdiction in the matter.

We are here on this Earth in order to learn, so every pregnancy is important, because it gives Soul (us) that opportunity. We do 'Reap what we Sow' (Karma) whether you believe it or not, so spiritual evolvement is held back each time an abortion takes place. The human body is a vehicle for Soul to use and so gravitate towards spiritual maturity, when the secret to life will be known.

DAS (formerly BushAdmirer) mikemarshall Big Lin Hi Anna, you know that it is my belief that we are all responsible for whatever happens to us in each lifetime. So whatever happens to us is meant for us to learn something, that will eventually benefit our spiritual development. As we are given free will, we can choose whether to have an abortion or not. If we choose to have an abortion, we not only have deprived another soul of its learning experience, but we have added more Karma to what we have already accrued, so no one benefits.

Yes Scottish Lassie ! So it's best to do everything humanly possible short of wearing a Muslim burqa to avoid getting into that situation.

Therefore the pregnancy being allowed to continue to full term was correct. We each have a lesson to learn and that is done through being responsible for all our actions. We have to learn to make wiser choices, because in the long run, we are actually creating our future. The wisest choice for the person at the time was not to have had an affair; afterall, the man was married so should have been off limits.

There are plenty of fish in the sea, just waiting to take someone else's place.
