Hear, hear! 100% agree with Krishnamurti. Our world would be so much better off without Communism, Islam, Christianity, Judaism, Socialism, etc. Let's ditch them all. Hi BushAdmirer, that is an impossibility. Belief systems include believing that the Sun will come up in the morning etc. we cannot ditch all our beliefs, we believe in this and we believe in that.!!! Hello Scottish Lassie The sun doesn't come up in the morning. The earth rotates macing it appear that the sun comes up. This has nothing at all to do with beliefs. It is a proven scientific fact. Nothing about religion, however, is the least bit scientific or proven. It is all speculation and imagination. There is a little bit of factual content to religions. For example, both Jesus and Mohammad did exist historically. They were real men who today would be called con men. That's because they were selling a load of bull which attracted illiterate dumbed down followers and enabled them to have followers.

Perhaps Krishnamurti is correct in his claim that ANY belief system is inherently authoritarian and that only by abandoning ALL belief systems can humanity progress. Hear, hear! 100% agree with Krishnamurti. Our world would be so much better off without Communism, Islam, Christianity, Judaism, Socialism, etc. Let's ditch them all. I think you should ditch Krishnamurti's belief system, sounds dangerous to me.

Presumably you prefer the great atheists, Stalin Hitler, Pol Pot Chairman Moa, all genocidal atheists who ran the worst regimes know in Christendom. The worst regimes by a staggering factor and not just one of them each and every one a thousand time worse than the worst religion. IF you want dumb followers look at the followers of atheism and where it got them ie into an early grave.

Just because someone does not believe does not mean it's not true & gives no one person the right to rid beliefs others may feel differently about even if it were possible. I have a niece who swears, she is Atheist, so I ask one day what she believed in and to share about Atheism with me.....funny how she could not!? The only difference between Scientific proof, and that from God, is Scientist can use their camera tricks & persuasive articles to make a believer out of anyone but God, on the other hand, shows his power of creation everyday in all things around us, but gave us the choice to accept or deny him. The saying "Seeing is believing" is interpreted differently by all!

Recognizing the obvious fact that all religions are fantasies invented by men doesn't lead to idolation of mass murderers like Hitler. Thats just silly.

Our world is indeed an amazing place. It is far beyond our current level of knowledge, abilities, and science to explain the origins of life, the universe, and much more. The indisputable fact of these complexities doesn't validate organized religion(s) in any way, not even slightly. It simply says that there is much we don't know, and that is unknowable given our present abilities and knowledge. Man has always been a curious animal. He seeks to know the unknowable. That curiosity is what opened an opportunity for con men like Mohammad, Jesus, Joseph Smith, L Ron Hubbard, and similar shysters.

It is all valid, you are wrong, I'm right on anything. The facts speak for themselves, every atheist society has been a genocidal hellhole. Do you think that is coincidence? Odds are about a billion to one. There is no civilisation without God. Civilisation cannot exist in an atheist society. Atheism is fantasy invented by evil men. Atheism allows evil to flourish which is why it always ends in genocide. Atheism is a regression to savagery.

Kronks - I know a lot of Agnostics and Atheists. I don't know anyone who belongs to a formal organization like a society. The people I know are smart folks who think for themselves and resist indoctrination.

Atheists have a belief for which there is no evidence, they cannot prove God does not exist thus they have a belief for which they have no evidence. You do not have to belong to a formal religion to believe in God. Religion is a matter of faith not intelligence.

Our view is that we don't know how all of our world was created, and neither do you or anyone else. It is one of the many unsolved mysteries of our time. One thing we do know for sure is that no organized religion has any validity.

Organised religion is essentially as valid as any organisation, but it is the belief not the organisation which is important. Being organised with out the belief is rather pointless.

People do like to get together for friendship and other reasons.

Hi Bush Admirer, People come together because they think the same by perhaps having similar experiences. If a person hears a voice and there is no person around to be responsible for that voice, what is a person supposed to think? It is obvious that they will come to believe that someone who cannot be seen exists just the same. You have heard of the expression: 'Birds of a feather gather together' so that is why you have organized groups. You can each relate your particular experience or hire someone to teach your beliefs who have never known of it, they are the ones who believe by faith alone. There is definitely some Intelligence there and people have decided to call that Intelligence God, nothing much wrong with that. IMO.

If I may, if your "agnostic group" does not know the most vital details, how can you be so sure there is no "validity" anywhere else? By the way, I find it showing respect when you capitalized Jesus's name but wondering why you do not find it suitable to do the same with your "agnostic" belief? Personally, I do it because of honor and respect towards my one and only savor. Also, can you give me a valid reason WHY you know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, Jesus is a "con man" and "shyster"?
