Hi Apple,I totally agree with that statement. People torture themselves when that kind of thing happens. To beg, only prolongs the agony of the separation. It is best to occupy your mind with some other interest until the pain subsides. Everything takes time, but a clean break is always the best way to go. I don't think anyone escapes heartbreak of some kind, but the quicker you get over it the better. |

Hi Anna, It all depends what you are letting die ofcourse. How about animosity towards another human being or one of the other negative traits that we might be displaying. I think we should all take a long look at ourselves and see what we can let go. Then the world might be a better place inwhich to live. Don't you think? |

One thing I like about your religion Eckankar is that uniqueness and individuality are very important. In the "worlds of duality" we do have some degree of freedom to influence and create these worlds as we wish. In many respects I'm very much a "retro lady". I do post testy questions towards leftist liberalism, which many see as the way to go.
I may disagree with people, but I give others the freedom to disagree with me and sense that most people have good hearts. |

Hi Anna, that ofcourse is debatable. As an ECKist we believe that life is always striving to balance itself, and the only way that we can escape the law of Karma is to aim for the middle road which gives you neutrality, so I guess there will always be an equal amount of both negativity and positivity in this world. It seems to be a foregone conclusion that this is indeed a fact.
