The picture looks so serene and carefree, it reminds me of when I was a child, I have played my part in trying to keep it that way, but there are others who apparently have found it difficult.

Probably because few people know what it is like, so are not game to hazard a guess. And ofcourse there are supposedly 3 heavens. I guess it is safer to stay with the stairs, they ofcourse no doubt are represenative of Jacobs Ladder.

Hi Toetapping, I don't really see the need for that particular ritual, or the one where people prostrate themselves. To me it is superflous.

I think what is meant by these words is: that childlen tend to say it as it is, in other words they are honest Whereas an adult can be double tongued and conniving.

I go along with that Toetapping, the fact that people are still being killed by their fellow men is proof that the human race is still pretty primitive in their behaviour.

Jesus ofcourse used the gift of intuition. We have all been given gifts, but some tend to ignore them, others make the most of them as Jesus evidently did.

Hi Toetapping, that betrayal resulted in Jesus being captured by the Romans and taken before Pilate to be tried and convicted, then crucified.
God had a reason for allowing that to happen as we all very well know.

Hi Toetapping, I was a Christian for many years so I do know the texts, but it is nice to be reminded. I see life a bit different now as I am no longer a Christian but a member of ECKANKAR, the religion of Light and Sound.

Jesus told the man on the cross that he would be with him in heaven, which I see as being a dimension. Even St Paul mentions a third heaven, so there must be at least three dimensions, what do you think?

I think there may be. The sky or atmosphere is the first heaven, and outer-space is the second heaven and the third heaven is where believers go when they die. This is just my opinion and I have a rule I never get into any heavy discussions about religion as I believe everyone is entitled to their opinion on any topic.

On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said, "Peace be with you!" After he said this, he showed them his hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord.
