Frank Sinatra was such a talent. Sad that he's gone but we still have his music.
Current popular singers are so bad compared to the greats like Sinatra.

In addition, my now husband left me on the dance floor to go back to the dais to continue eating and drinking.
I never saw him eat and drink so much in my life as at our wedding.
I ate nothing but 1 bite of wedding cake and had 1 sip of champagne.
He ate my dinner as well as his and everything else in sight. Drank 4 Long Island Ice Teas as well as who knows how much champagne.
When we returned to get get ready to leave for our honeymoon I asked for a few minutes then slept thru the night.
He on the other hand went to the fridge and ate the entire top of the wedding cake. Saved nothing for us to have for a year later.
To say my weeding was memorable would be a huge understatement...and that is leaving out all the parts concerning my mother-in-law.

On thinking over what you said, I'm just wondering if the reason for him eating so much, is it possible that he was making sure he would have plenty of energy in order to fulfill his responsibility on your wedding night? Then again he could have been very nervous about the same thing in case he didn't make the grade? Did you really fall asleep before his expected wedding performance? All in all, it is hilarious, Thanks for giving me a laugh. I was kept awake for most of the night, after first removing bottles strung together and hanging from the springs under the bed. Someone must have informed the establishment that we were newly weds. We had the wedding reception at another venue. |

I really do not know why he he ate and drank so so much.
In retrospect it really is a very funny story. Not what I expected.
I have told it to others. They also thought it ws pretty funny.
