Andrea Bocelli's "Time to Say Goodbye" was played here on New Years Eve in the final minutes of the old year! A display of computer controlled fireworks was magically timed and harmonized to beautifully support the touching melody of this song! I'm not ashamed to say my tears applauded this melody through the entire song! Original video removed from UTube. Modified by GabrielI love Andrea Bocelli, also the three tenors, I can't think of their names at the moment.

I think people get more "mainstream" as they get older...or they retreat back to the good old days. The last Band I discovered was "British Sea Power" a few years ago...I love their sounds. AH Well I guess I'm ready to go, then. uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Ijh2Fqd1ZPYI've never seen you on this forum before, I thought perhaps my phone had jumped to GOB without me realising.

That's a great old song Deyana. Hadn't heard it for years. Thanks for putting it up here.

Speaking of old songs, are you old enough to remember the 1957 chart buster "Little Darlin?" Tom Hanks father was the lead singer of the Diamonds, a rock and roll group from the 1950’s. Their biggest hit was “Little Darlin” it was a time when the performers were happy, enjoying themselves, respecting their fans, dressed appropriately and their lyrics could be understood. They did not feel obligated to scream, eat the microphone, mumble inaudible lyrics or trash the set. The Diamonds had a hit with "Little Darlin". 47 years later, they were requested to perform at Atlantic City... Here are both performances. www.flixxy.com/the-diamonds-little-darlin-1957-2004..htmWatch the first one then scroll down for the new one 47 years later. Tom Hanks father is good looking, and even better looking with age. He’s the lead singer on the left 47 years apart, 2 Performances — Enjoy

That's a great old song Deyana. Hadn't heard it for years. Thanks for putting it up here. You're very welcome, Das. I really like some of the 50's and 60's music. It was much more pure then today and yet beautiful to listen to. (Even though I wasn't born then)

A real rarity - yes, it is a very early Debbie Harry contribution to music in a very different genre from the ones with which we normally associate her!

Wow, who would have guessed that Blondie was really dark haired? Nice song, Mike, a good find.
