They sold our jobs! Think about that. They sold all our jobs and we didn't fight them, we just rolled over and took it politely: "You want to rob me. Here..". That's what Americans did. And when they were done hocking our income sources, they continued borrowing money in our name, so they and their cronies could have it, and we can just owe it. And again, we just rolled over. When is America going to get angry? When? wtf I think Americans are angry, same as what we are or the Greeks or Spanish or whatever are. Trouble is that they don't seem to have the same sort of drive as what Europeans do. They just seem to be totally obsessed with the idea that authority has to sort their lives out. I found out a long time ago that you have to take responsibility for your own actions and build your own life. If you just try and depend on the government - which seems to be the American way and has been for the last 100 years or so - then you're seting yourself up to be exploited by the toerags in charge. Well, half the people in this country swallow and vote for total (and mean-spirited) fantasy...so they're good little fascists and aren't going to change anything. The other half are more reasonable minded individuals, but we vote for what we can only see as "the lesser of two evils", and we have no hope at all that there is democracy, that voting gives us a "choice" and a voice in anything. It doesn't. They're all corporate shills that run our country, making decisions to fleece us and leave us working for so little that millions of us cant pay to live indoors or get enough food properly (if we can get a job at all) This dreadful nightmare government is protected by the most well armed military and police forces. We'd never be able to just go with our pitchforks and torches and get them out. And voting does nothing. Oh it would. We could use the internet to build a nationwide consensus on some changes we want to FORCE the legislature to push through, BUT as I said, half the people support the fascism. They're in la la land, and will puppet dutifully bad things at any signs of dissent or spine.. We are a defeated people. Defeated by the divide and conquer method. And we feel utterly hopeless at it. It's not that we're waiting for government itself to fix their own wagon. It's that they have a lock on running things as they will, and we have no free press no freedom of speech or assembly...we lost a lot of rights....all so that dissent gets "left out" of news coverage, and protests get attacked by horse mounted soldiers with weapons, and pundits who tell the fascists to parrot that they are "hippies" (bums, dirty, scum, all kinds of words like that). Don't know if I made sense of it. But we're just watching it all fall to sh*t here! I'd have LEAPT at the chance to help Occupy get something done, but they dissipated because of the treatment I just described, and because too many Americans are either brainwashed parrot-heads, or they're lazy! Apathetic. I dont know what we can do. Obviously it takes a leader to organize a movement, and if that doesn't happen, then we're surely headed towards violence when they do finally boil over. But geez they're taking their sweet time getting to there!

Why are we calling it "the fiscal cliff"? Why aren't we calling it what it is, "the 'gee thanks Bush Republicans for the situation you put us in' cliff"? They absolutely created this problem.
Well, hearing about it is just one in a long line of looming disasters we're always being encouraged to fear. Nuclear annihilation, Y2k, economic collapse, economic collapse... You'd think a leader's job would be to give us a bright outlook to make real, not a morale-killing morbid fear to have hanging ever over our heads. Why do we have such crummy leadership all the time? Why?
Well I blame Ross Perot. I blame him for getting our hopes up and then turning out to be a looney. Ever since then a third party candidate doesn't have a chance.
And I blame the people themselves for doing nothing about any of this.
Although it's no wonder people don't get involved in their own politics; it's all an ever-miserable unstoppable Goliath we can do nothing but rely on to be bad.
The least the ****ers could do is run the economy soundly and make sure there are jobs that pay wages people can live on.
Do I have a point here?
Yea, the "Bush Republican Cliff". I want it called what it actually is. I dont want the *******s responsible for this to get away with what they did to us without having to at least be blamed for it rightly.

Why can you choose your friends but you can't choose your family?
(Right now that's a very topical beef with me!)

It goes along with the saying.....
You can pick your friends......you can pick your nose....but you can't pick your friend's noses.

Murder should just be called 'unauthorized killing', since the government does lots of it and the only reason you can't is they outlawed individuals doing it for themselves, so that they would have all the power.
Think of it. How wrong can killing be when we
give medals for it?
make excuses for needing to do it?
We kill people who kill people to show that individual killing is "wrong".
So, apparently wrong doesn't mean wrong. It just means unauthorized.
So I'm going to call murder "unauthorized killing" from now on...
You have a point Hunny!!!
