The "Federal Reserve System" like other "Central Banks" is not a government organisation, but a syndicate of private bankers, who decide how much value the nation's currency holds and how high or low interest rates are.

The government has no control over these cartels!

There are those who've been trying to tell people of this reality for many years, but they always get dismissed as "conspiracy theorists", which is just what the powers that be would want.

I see this, and I see our two party system of idiocy (where we "choose" between two "parties" (or worse, imagine it's about the man running *cringe*) and really it doesn't matter which party gets in, they get in alternately. And the "man" you voted for isn't who runs things. And it's all a rouse designed to make you think you have some part in the managing of your own country, but you have none. I wont even vote any more, I'm so convinced an election has all the validity and worth of a "professional wrestling" match. I stopped watching the news, I stopped watching TELEVISION to remove myself from the process of being passively mindwashed along with everyone else. It's all crap!

Anyway, I see what goes on and I think "Fine. So humanity is an ugly thing. We're as predatory as any other animal, and we are just animals, and that's just how it is. So am I happy with my lot? Can I just "accept and ignore", as is most people's tactic when confronted with the large and ugly truth of things? Well, yea, but I can't own a computer without ending up reminded of it all, I cant put the genie back in the bottle, I KNOW about it and i cant UN-know about it...so I can't evade feeling...bad about what we are, what life actually is.

You hear all these lovely myths (eg, eternal life in heaven! yadda yadda, or as Sagan painted it "we are the cosmos itself becoming aware, and will evolve so much further than this", and yadda), but you can't get on board because reality is reality. Should one REALLY chose to just "believe" it away? Are we to be as children, with hands over ears? -excusing away how things are while escaping into a mere dream of an ideal future, while really we're here, now, and it sucks?

The one thought that keeps presenting itself to me about all this is we are taught, as children, a false set of expectations about what "good" is, about what "right" is. We're taught to expect there's something called "fairness" which will be protected for us. AND IT'S ALL RUBBISH. And if our mothers had not filled our heads and hearts with it, if they had told us we are but callous predatory assholes, instead - as we are...if they had told us to "step on anyone you can to take as much as you can and f*** everyone else!", then they would have been telling us more like the truth of things. But we don't get told the truth, we get sent into adulthood conditioned with expectations of things being as they are not. We are launched into life expecting IDEALS to be the wonderful reality of things. And when we consistently don't find these things to be reality, when we find life is ugly instead, we then go through our lives perpetually disappointed. At least, I do.

The problem is the valuing of helping one another and creating happiness wherever possible and never any negative emotions or effects as we go about, I really do value that. So how can I do well in life that way? I was not taught the truth of how things really are. I was not made FIT to deal with it. I was only set up to become greatly saddened at what I'd slowly find and have to admit to as to what man and the world is really like. -->QUESTION WHAT YOU ARE TEACHING YOUR CHILDREN. And no, I don't know what exactly you should tell them. And I don't WANT you to tell them "life is ugly, be a bigger jerk than the one taking advantage of you". I just know I wasn't taught how life really is, so I wasn't prepared for it, and i am constantly disheartened by it, so I shut off my television and don't even look at it any more. So I at least know lies aren't what to fill children's minds with. Tell them the truth. Tell them it isnt about what's right, it's about what you GET AWAY WITH.

It's actually a good description of what i refer to as "the Republicans", and we've always known there are people behind the scenes they answer to and do their deeds for. (Well, hell, they're not doing any deeds for us!

As for me, I will do as the other ostriches do, I will seek to live in a little pocket of denial and safety from the larger reality, where people are nice to each other and help one another and share a few laughs and good feelings.

...unless, that is, I see a militia forming...if it was big enough to have a chance, I'd join it. Jefferson warned Americans they would need to have an armed revolution every generation or else a few rich guys would take and keep control over us and we'd no longer have a democracy at all. He said that and in 200+ years we have never heeded it, even though we bemoan how rotten things have become, and how "someone" should do something. Funny. We can get people to send their KIDS to die while killing others to steal their oil, we can get people to send their KIDS and wave FLAGS to go and "make a point to the communists"! We can sacrifice our eldest sons and call it PATRIOTISM, for an endless chain of wars for just CONTROL over others, but not once do we think to fight and die FOR OURSELVES, for the safety and better future of our own country. Though THAT would be the only fight we could have that would truly BE "patriotic".

But no, we let our own country get taken over and gutted, and STILL we sit here watching our televisions, eating corn chips. Well. If you Americans ever do decide to get off your asses and take your country and your money back from those who stole it and enslave you and expect you to sacrifice your children for their wars of conquest for them, count me in. Otherwise...without a very large and angry movement to join, I am powerless to stop any of it, and I am condemned to spend my life daily furrowing my brow in pain over thinking of it all. I am sentenced to write these things, for so few people to actually read (and probably think of it as but a "political rant") *shrug* Well,

It's hard to imagine why we'd allow it to go on. All these years too! But of course, when a president has tried to do something about it (Garfield), he got "mysteriously" killed. And now, well, there are no politicians left who aren't sworn to loyalty to the money power. And the people, bah!, they won't act. Shame. Imagine something as huge as a few guys plunging us into horrendous debt and repeated recessions just so they can take our property...and we allow it!!!! You'd think people would be damned angry, but we allow it. Pfft! This is why I'm always so down on American people for being stupid sheep.

Someone at some point needs to invigorate them, bring them together and lead them to do one small act of taking democratic power for themselves, just one, and they'd suddenly have the idea that hey, we're NOT powerless to act after all! In the 80's, I thought they could use cable access TV to organize, but in the 90's and 00's came the internet, and so what excuse does anyone have now, for not acting on their own behalf? They all know the word "viral", they know a few tweets and all of a sudden the whole country is thinking the same thing->so why don't they get mad and use that? Well..people have made some effort recently (the occupy movement), but the power of the corporate people owning and scripting our press, telling everyone to feel and parrot that Occupy is a "bunch of dirty hippy bums" or some such derogatory language generated by rich people trying to protect their unconstitutional, immoral stranglehold - well that can kill anything they want to have discredited and swept under a rug, because people just repeat what they hear, so the movement languishes. MEANWHILE, people COULD bypass the "news" networks and just use the internet as their own untainted news network. What a wonderful democratizing tool I imagined the internet would be when it came about, and people don't use it, except to tweet funny bits of video! Yikes! Well, it's there. For the moment, it's there and they could use it. Hmm. Maybe we should tweet this documentary, but then again, good luck getting a few million people to watch a 3-1/2 hour production - but still, maybe we should do it anyway. Or just that 19 minute segment you posted even.


Ooh. Wait. Guess who is promising to "audit the fed"? Yep, Romney. Oh I don't want that guy to win. I've been saying this and saying this but if people had just been the tiniest bit aware, enough to not ever vote Republican, we wouldn't be in the mess we're in now. We'd have national health even. And if Clinton's work wiping out the deficit is any indication, maybe we wouldn't be in such paralyzing debt. Yea, I don't want that guy Romney to win.

So maybe we shouldn't tweet anything until AFTER the election! LOL

I just wish people had never started voting Republican. With a democrat-controlled legislature, and a decent president with the right mandate, oh what positive change could be made! But no, we put warmongering assholes in office, and so now we're screwed, AND YET I STILL have to listen to banana brained youngsters parroting the right wing propaganda. This country has gone to hell, and guess who Satan is? mm And you'd think people could see when things happen right before their eyes, but again--> the power of a corporate owned and scripted press is devastating! People hear something on there, and just repeat it. It's SO easy.

Honestly, if you could find the wise man on the hill (with the long white beard and the knowledge of everything) and you asked him why we're in such a mess, he'd say: "Because Americans wrongly imagine they have to "choose which man" for president, ignoring completely that the man is just the party figurehead, it's the PARTY they're choosing for office, not the man.." Obama has never been less than obliging towards the Federal Reserve sytem. Never has he gone on record criticizing the Federal Reserve or going against it's will!
All political experts believe Obama would veto the bill to audit the fed. Obama has gotten on the bandwagon which claims that auditing the fed would politicize it. I'm sure he'll avoid being questioned on this.
