Hello Folks! Another Board! Another half hour of my day wasted! Bliss! possibly, but if you look at the big picture, what is waste? in all liklihood, in total minutes per day, you probably spend close to half an hour in the bathroom. now, THAT is a waste

Excellent point! I shall get a waterproof laptop and just combine the two! great solution. that way, you can waste the same half hour. no extra waste of time that could be better spent at the pub

Patrick, it's great to see you!
For those who don't know him, he has a great (if often weird) sense of humour.
He's an all-round good bloke as well!

Good grief.....I'm the tallest of all my sisters and I'm 5'3". There's a lot of advantages to being short though. We're some of the last ones to get rained on.....we don't have to crawl around as much in a fire......we're more economically and earth friendly because it takes less material to clothe us........(just to name a few). that's true. i'm only 6'8". when some clown asked, "how's the weather up there" my response was always "i know it's raining before you do. still, there are many disadvantages to being big Jim, I'm sure the tallest person on this board and probably one of the tallest in the world!

My son-in-law is 6' 5" . The main disadvantages he's found are: 1. the necessity of a california king bed for real comfort, and 2. not always being able to find the clothes he wants to buy in his size. I think, years ago, being tall was a bigger problem. Now, it's starting to even out with lots of tall people.
