I tried to create a forum and it turned out to be an absolute disaster. My forum is nothing but a ghost town, with tumble weeds blowing through it.

For a long time this one was very active but some of my best contributors left and two died.
I keep struggling on and hoping new blood will help.
Nice to see you back again, Aaron!

I work with the homeless, so my schedule is kind of crazy. I will stop by when I can and chat. I became interested in working with the homeless because I was homeless for 2 years, and lived in a tent in the woods, so I experienced it first hand. Ever since then I have wanted to help the homeless however I could. I think its really good of you to stick with the forum. Dont be discouraged. I hope more people come to chat, because I can see that you work really hard at it.

Man, I must say I have been looking at the history of these forums. Some of the dates go back to 2009. I am blown away. Its like looking into the history books or something. aaron, Some forums are even older than that. I have been posting on ProBoards for about 2 years. But other people have been posting a whole lot longer. 10, 20 years.

People seem to come and go. Its quite fascinating. Some people seem to have been posting for years, while others just kind of disappear. Its really quite overwhelming. hi aaronb , it is fascinating and before you know it you've been posting for years and it feels a lot less , I don't have as much time as I used to to post any where any more but that's life, ever changing .

Didnt know the forums were 10 or even 20 years old. That is just mind blowing. I noticed that in a lot of these forums people cant seem to catch up to eachother. Some one will post something and then they will get a response hours later.

My schedule is a little crazy as well, I never really know when I will get a chance to post, but I will stop in from time to time. Today I am headed to the local homeless shelter to help give out food. I live in the united states, and homelessness is a big problem here. Like I said, I used to be homeless. Thank goodness I am not anymore, but ever since then I promised myself I would help out the homeless. I saw some hard times that I will never forget when I was homeless. I also pass the time with sports card collecting. I have become obsessed with it. It just fascinates me for some reason. Trying to hunt down these rare sports cards. I have also become obsessed with sports. I love every sport baseball, basketball, football, you name it. I stayed up late last night watching the duke vs unc game. Biggest rivalry in college sports. What a game! Well Everybody have a geat day and take care.

Hello everyone, just thought I would drop in and say hello. Today I am headed to my mothers house to help her with some grocery shopping and stuff. She struggles with diabetes and back problems, so Its hard for her to get around these days. She lives close to me so I drop in everyday to check up on her. We lost my father to cancer in 2017 so we both struggle without him here. Later I will probably go check out the Kareem Abdul Jabbar card section on Ebay. I love to collect sports cards. Kareem Abdul Jabbar was a 7 foot 2 tall monster on the basketball court. He is the all-time leading scorer in the history of basketball, in case nobody is familiar with him. He also fought Bruce Lee in the movie Game of Death. Well everyone have a great day!

As a matter of fact he was married from 1971- 1978 to a woman named Habiba, and they had 3 children I do believe. I don't think he is currently married. I wouldnt want to be that tall. Everyday things like taking a shower and driving a car must be difficult for him I would think!I am not sure how tall she was.

Her pregnancy might prove to be difficult if the child took after Dad.

It's that long ago that I have seen it, that my memory is rather vague.PS: I think that had to do with Bruce Lee and his son was accidently shot in a different movie.

I'm happy the way things are. You have to remember that in one part of the globe the people are sleeping who are members of a forum, so you will never get an instant answer except from members who live in the same time zone.

Diolch am ymuno â ni. Rydyn ni'n dorf gyfeillgar! (I tried to learn Welsh for three months and can still remember quite a few words and phrases but the grammar defeated me! For those who speak even less Welsh than me I said: Welcome! Thanks for joining us. We're a friendly crowd!) Well, as a Liverpool supporter you must be very happy with this season (especially after triumph was snatched from your grasp at the last minute the previous year.) I am a Brentford supporter and my wife supports Chelsea! Once again, good to see you here!

Well many thanks andie and Mikemarshall; For your welcomes, must confess my Welsh is very poor, must do a "Brush up" on it in the near future. Indeed very pleased with how well Liverpool are doing this season, Will be posting much more about this in the "Sports section". I also run my own small Forum, Highlighting Unemployment here in the UK, it has some general sections as well, and a political area for Members (Link in Profile) OK thats enough Advertising Im sure Im going to enjoy, learn & meet lots of new folks on here.
