Thanks, Gibby. Nice to see you. We've had a few family problems over the last month and though we've more or less sorted them out now it's made it hard for me to be online much.
I'll try and be more active

Just checking in. We are in the midst of what is left of Hurricane Ida coming down right now. It's very windy and rainy but not too bad really. I think we have escaped the worst of it.

Ok, a self-administered Covid test. (and you are there! how exciting... *opens kit, reads instructions* I'm amazingly sick, but google tells me there's a cold so bad going around people have been showing up at ER's thinking it's the plague. So I want to know which it is. Cold or Covid. *sigh* It says to wash my hands. Ya know how I got sick? We stopped the hand-washing, and distancing, and requiring masks. We thought it was over (in Massachusetts). But two weeks of normal living and I'm sick as can be! Huh. It's negative. I'm almost disappointed (the anti-bodies would have been as good as a booster shot) (and how could I not have Covid??! I feel so bad!!) Well I could have screwed up the test, or I have a bad cold. Either way, it's starting to ease today. Good morning! Hi Lin. I posted a couple things, I stopped by because I finally was able to log in to my e-mail. Hello old friends! K, but I'm too wiped out to type any more. I need sleep. And wish I could eat. ..But I got Captain Meow and my nice comfy blanket in front of the TV anyway.(I've been watching Hogans Heroes, lol.) (Oh, and The Day After...a 1983 movie depicting what nuclear war would be like (it was a big deal here, the network pre-empted regular programming (gave up their ad money for 2 hours) after it aired and made help available. They brought on Carl Sagan and government people to tell us a few things. But...it wasn't reassuring. And well, you hear what Putin's been saying? yea. One madman, that's all it'd take. I wouldn't actually mind though (sorry, I wouldn't). I think humankind is unworthy and incapable of doing better. So I wish we'd use eugenics to eliminate IQ's lower than 150 and also tone deafness which'd help (Oh. There's a reason why republicans play laughably bad music at their events. (They do! Like Trump playing Village People songs at his rallies (WHAA? ?) Or when republicans had an event related to cheating and being scumbags (well, what else would it be about?) and the woman they chose to sing the national anthem jumped key 17 times. It was stupefying! I'd also cite Dan Quayle's Museum Dedication (OMFG I wish I taped that!! No one will believe how SPECTACULARLY BAD!!) And they bring in guys like Lee Greenwood (AAAARRRGHH!!) Yea, I'm saying - and insisting. as a music artist, that I actually know - republicans are NECESSARILY DUMB, and that musical perception is part of intelligence, which they don't have. So...if it's their event, expect to be flabbergasted and embarrassed! Oh, and the Preacher (Kenneth Copeland) who prayed about Covid on TV. the guy looks like he's been doing his own facelifts! And he prayed Covid to go away, like this... "I blow-ow-ow you away" (and then he blew spit at us.) Too perfect! Oh I should assemble an album of republican music classics, for youtube. I really should! They're so terrible they're funny!
