The reviews suggest that neither is a good film, but, if it were me, I'd plump for Burlesque; apparently the dancing's good.
With regard to your wife, all the curries and Guiness and driving her in the car up and down bumpy cobbles doesn't help. (Trust me, I know.)
But there is one act that is rumoured to help ..

Convince her to watch TRON Legacy! My hubby and I are going to the midnight IMAX 3D show.

We did Burlesque, it was ok, the music was impressive and though predictable, it was enjoyable.
None of your advice has produced a baby!! Now 1 week and counting.

Glad you enjoyed it, JR. I've heard a couple of others say it's worth the price and time. It sounds like a movie that needs to be seen on a big screen .. with popcorn. Hope I get a chance to see it.

Ok....next time do you get to choose two movies and have her pick between them? Normally we agree, I think it's her pregnancy brain. In fairness though, it was worth a look, not my first choice but much better than I feared. The music was great, those ladies have some pipes on them.
