on the local field where the kids play... bushes and trees....some of the kids said there was a man who stood in the bushes watching them...........so two or three locals set up watch....saw the man lurking....had quiet[lol] words... man went away never to return...problem solved direct action solves problems and costs nothing that was back in the 1960,s now the local police or council would probably have taken out the bushes ....but why take a sledge hammer to a nut when a fist and a voice works just as well

A few years ago a local rag reported that police were searching for a man seen taking the hand of a little boy, then releasing him when he saw the parents were watching, and the child ran back to them.
The next week the paper reported that the suspect had walked into the police station. What had happened was that he saw the child walking through the gated playground and towards the road, and had taken hold of him until he was sure the parents were aware of what was happening.
Next time he'll probably let the perishing kid get run over, and the paper will be full of the fact that there were people around who failed to prevent the tragedy.
A lone man can't go for a walk in the park and look around at the kids without getting labelled. What a dreadful world we live in.

our local school decided not to have a sports day...very right on new head teacher...wanted a ""games day"" with every one a winner......so the parents intervined at the ""games day"" and gave out prizes they bought to the FIRST three partakers in every game competition is not a dirty word neither is the word winner

Yes, Mouse, but once we become conscious of perverts who lurk in parks, this sort of nonsense is almost inevitable. They don't wear labels around their necks announcing themselves as paedophiles. Everyone is suspect.
