That was her obituary, as posted by the funeral home. I don't know the cause of death. It's not fun to see wonderful people you shared joy & tears & friendship with...pass away and be done. But this is the cycle of life. And its message to us all is LIVE LIKE YOU MEAN IT RIGHT NOW WHILE YOU CAN! Live with zest. Take risks. Fulfill wishes. LIVE! Now! Remember Chips? He posted in the monthly magazine with us, when we were doing that. -----Click HERE to read our magazine. You'll see pieces by Chips and Sadie.----- Well, Chips also died, but he told us, "We are all visitors to this time, this place. We are just passing through. Our purpose here is to observe, to learn, to grow, to love... and then we return home."Thank you Chips. Thankyou each and every member of this wonderful old forum of ours. Sadie (Sandra Dee, Sandra) was my friend. We talked by e-mail and I had her phone number. And now I feel bad I didn't call it in recent years. But I'm not doing great either. Look, everyone, I suggest come back here to commiserate. And while we're here, we'll post a bit and have fun like we used to WHILE WE CAN. I also suggest - as people do when a loved one passes - TELL SOME STORIES here...about Sadie (and Chips and Jimbo and Anna and all those who have shined and left us)...

Sandra Dee, I know you said "don't cry because it's over" but I cried. And I still am. You meant more to me than I managed to say. You never judged me. You were a true blue wonderful friend. You were fun and funny. It was a good time in my life to come here and have such an ally! I love you Sandra. *hugs your soul and wishes you to still be around somehow*

I have to believe that although we would want to keep much loved people in our lives forever that some are taken away too quickly, and only meant to touch our lives for a short time. They are something like rainbows - beautiful and bring a smile to our face and hearts, but fleeting. But we are never sorry we saw them.

I'm devastated to hear the news. She was one of the most lovable people I've ever come across.
So many deaths - Jim, Anna, Andi (don't think you knew Andi, Hunny, but she was lovely), Beth - oh, it makes me feel so sad.
I'm working on an elegiac poem in her memory just as I did for Jim and Anna and Andi and Beth.
You are with the angels now and my thoughts and prayers are with you, dear Sadie/Sandra.
